   REQUIREMENTS  TO  OBTAIN  YOUR CALIFORNIA  SALESPERSON  LICENSE

 

  1.  Must be at least 18 years of age.

  2.  Register for and complete 135 hours of required education. In order to apply for the California Real Estate License

  3. Exam, the state requires you to complete 135 hours of DRE-approved college level real estate courses. We offer two education options that  fulfill the 135-hour requirement.

  4. Apply for your Salesperson Exam/License Application,  including fingerprinting and background check.

  5.  Take the California Salesperson License Exam. To pass the California Salesperson License Exam you will need a score of 70% or better.

  6. Once you have completed your required education, you can apply for your license exam.

Business Presentation

CES Real Estate School is approved by the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) to provide you with the three 45-hour courses required for all prospective real estate license holders. These courses include:

  • California Real Estate Principles-45-hour course

  • California Real Estate Practice-45-hour course

  • California Legal Aspects of Real Estate-45-hour course

Each course will be followed by an open book final exam. Once you’ve received your three individual real estate course certifications, you’ll be prepared and ready to take the California Real Estate Licensing Exam
